Elche have signed Cádiz defender Víctor Chust on a permanent basis.
The 26-year-old centre-back joined on loan at the Estadio Manuel Martínez Valero for the 2025/26 season and made an impact early on in the season.
Chust played 31 times in La Liga this season, netting one goal as Elche managed to avoid relegation and stay in the top tier of Spain’s league.
After his good results, Elche have now exercised the right to buy Chust, making him a permanent member of their squad.

Elche CF has made the purchase of the player with Cádiz CF, with the agreement to integrate him in the club until June 2029.
The agreement represents another major move in Elche’s quest to bolster their defensive line for the 2026/27 season of La Liga.
Chust was a youngster who was picked up by Cádiz’s academy and progressed through their youth ranks, and has now signed his next contract with Elche, which will run until the summer of 2029.
